Beware of a Scam Clone Impersonating My Team

I want to flag an important security warning for anyone searching for my development services.

A scam “clone” is impersonating us

There’s an account and channel that have been showing up in search for a long time and are trying to imitate my team:

  • @FreeBlockDevv
  • @FreeBlockDevs

How the scam works

We’ve checked these profiles. The pattern is consistent:

  • They accept requests for software development work.
  • During the discussion, they present it as if they’re coordinating with me (and may reference me directly).
  • When it comes time to pay, they provide their own wallet address.

In other words: they try to use my name/reputation to get you to send funds to a wallet that has nothing to do with me or my team.

How to stay safe

  • Don’t pay anyone who contacts you from the handles above.
  • Verify payment details through a trusted, confirmed communication channel before sending any funds.
  • If something feels off (rushed payment, new wallet, inconsistent details), pause and re-check.

If you think you’ve interacted with these accounts, stop and verify everything before proceeding. Please share this warning with anyone who might be looking for our services.
