How AI Technologies are Transforming SEO: My Experience with Cursor

Working with modern artificial intelligence tools like Cursor, I often find myself wondering how they would have transformed our approach to SEO just 10 years ago. Back when we were heavily focused on driving traffic through site promotion, we sorely lacked such solutions.

Revolutionizing SEO with AI

Today, AI is fundamentally changing the work of search optimization specialists. It enables tasks to be performed at an entirely new level, whether it’s analysis, technical audits, link building, or internal linking. Even aspects like behavioral factors and load speed can now be optimized much more effectively.

Practical Application on My Blog

I decided to test Cursor's capabilities on my blog, which is a standard content site. The results exceeded all expectations: the site was nearly perfected in terms of load speed. Cursor suggested optimizations that previously would have been daunting due to high costs, time, and the complexity of coordination between frontend, backend, and DevOps teams.

Extensive Functionality of Cursor

Cursor doesn’t just work with code. It can visit the site as if it were a search engine bot, conduct audits, identify errors, and propose extensive changes. It’s truly impressive.

Automating Internal Processes

When I tasked it with creating relevant posts and automating internal linking, Cursor assembled an almost complete system. This system included weights, tags, categories, click distribution, and internal weight distribution, as well as protection against anchor list over-optimization. Frankly, at times it feels like magic.

In conclusion, AI technologies like Cursor are opening new horizons for SEO specialists. They simplify and accelerate processes that previously seemed complex and costly, and most importantly, they enable better results.
